Žaliakalnio railway funiculair first opened on the 8th of August, 1931. Lower station was built in 1935. Two new coaches were installed during reconstruction in 1937 and work until now. The funiculair was renewed in 2003.
Length between stations - 150m, one coach can carry up to 25 persons, travel time 1,5 min.
Ticket office is in upper station.
The funiculair is included into the Registry of Immovable Cultural Heritage Sites of the Republic of Lithuania .
How to find: from Laisves av. go A. Mickevčiaus street until V. Putvinskio street.
Working hours : I - V 07:00 - 19:00, VI - VII 09:00 - 19:00.

There are left all the equipment, stations, coaches originally made.

The funiculair is included into the Registry of Immovable Cultural Heritage Sites of the Republic of Lithuania .
How to find: from Old town go to Nemunas river direction, follow through Vytautas The Great bridge. .
Working hours : daily 07:00 - 19:00 .
